The South Bank is my absolute favourite part of London. Walking along the Thames I have taken countless photos of the architecture of the Festival Hall, Hayward Gallery and National Theatre. The combination of the cultural idealism of the festival of Britain and the lost future that was promised is full of romance and sadness.
