Lee Circle Car Park in Leicester is an unloved landmark. The ‘Auto-Magic’ car park was innovative architecturally when it opened in 1961. It is one of the oldest multi story car parks in Europe and the first to use automated coin operated barriers. it once housed the first Tesco Supermarket outside London which was opened by Carry On star Sid James.
